Privacy Policy — LancePulse

This Privacy Policy explains how Syntrex Consulting - FZCO ("Syntrex", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you interact with LancePulse (the "Service") at lancepulse.com.

LancePulse is currently in pre-launch. This policy covers data collected during that phase, including waitlist sign-ups, contact enquiries, and site visits.

2. The data we collect

  • Waitlist and contact submissions — Email address and any information you choose to include in a message or form submission. Source: you.
  • Usage analytics — Anonymous usage data: pages visited, session events, browser type. No personally identifying information is attached to events. Source: collected automatically via PostHog, plus Google Analytics 4 once you accept analytics.

3. Why we process your data

  • Respond to waitlist sign-ups and contact enquiries — Your legitimate interest and ours in communicating about the product (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Understand how the site is used to improve it — Our legitimate interest in product development, using anonymous analytics only (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Analytics (GA4 and PostHog) — Our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for PostHog, which counts your visit without cookies until you accept; your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) for Google Analytics 4, and for the analytics cookies PostHog sets once you accept.

4. Analytics — GA4 and PostHog

We use two analytics tools:

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — measures page visits, session duration, and navigation patterns.
  • PostHog — measures site interactions and session events. Configured to collect anonymous event data only; no personally identifiable information is attached to events.

Neither tool is used for advertising. We do not sell analytics data to any third party.

Your consent choice: When you first visit LancePulse, a consent banner asks whether you accept analytics. Google Analytics loads only once you accept — decline and it never loads at all. PostHog counts your visit either way, but until you accept it runs without cookies and stores nothing on your device. Your choice is remembered in your browser; clearing this site's data brings the banner back.

5. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers we use to operate the site:

  • Analytics providers (GA4 / PostHog) — on the basis set out in Section 4: GA4 only once you accept, PostHog either way.
  • Email / communication providers — to respond to your enquiries.

6. Data retention

  • Waitlist and contact data: kept for the duration of the pre-launch phase and deleted within 30 days of your request.
  • Analytics data: retained per each provider's standard retention settings (GA4 default: 14 months; PostHog: configurable per our account settings).

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Under the CCPA/CPRA, we do not sell or share your personal data.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service develops. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect.
